INSTALLATION & UNINSTALLATION

Install
Double-clicking 'setup.exe'icon in this software.

Uninstall
Selecting "Canopus Codec Option" and clicking 'Change/Remove' button via [Start] > [Control Panel] > [Add or Remove Programs].

OPERATION & LIMITATIONS
Installing this software, the following codecs are installed to your system.

• Canopus DV Codec
• Canopus Lossless Codec
• Canopus HQ Codec
• Canopus HQX Codec

These codecs are DECODE-ONLY and enable you to VIEW files created by EDIUS Pro or Broadcast editing software with using Microsoft Windows Media Player.Please do not install this software to the system already installed our High-definition supported product. If you install it, you cannot capture a movie of these codec forms and make the AVI file.

EDIUS Broadcast has the above codecs can be used in any DirectShow-compliant application.It includes DVCPRO 50 and DVCPRO HD software codecs developed in collaboration with Panasonic.

ABOUT CANOPUS DV CODEC
Canopus DV Codec provides fast DV and DVCAM processing in high quality, with little or no generational degradation and utilizing minimal CPU processing time.This codec is used in Canopus NLE editing systems and Grass Valley EDIUS.

This codec is based on the popular Huffman lossless algorithm and is fully optimized to be one of the fastest lossless codecs on the market.
